Hunting, fishing licenses now available by a call or a click

Getting a West Virginia hunting or fishing license is now as easyas dialing a phone or clicking a computer mouse.

Under a new program begun this morning by the Division of NaturalResources, sportsmen can skip the state's laborious paper-licensingprocess and order licenses electronically.

"I'm pleased to announce that the Division of Natural Resourceshas signed agreements with Bass Pro Shops and GreatLodge.com," Gov.Bob Wise announced in a prepared release. "Bass Pro Shops will offerhunting and fishing licenses over the telephone, and GreatLodge.comwill offer licenses on the Internet."
